MSc Cloud and Network Security

Course Overview

This MSc in Cloud and Network Security, awarded by the University of Greater Manchester and delivered by WINC, is designed for graduates with a background in networking, system administration, or cloud computing who want a deeper understanding of the security and operations of computer systems.

You'll study the latest methodologies and development techniques and build a detailed understanding of computer operating systems, virtualisation, and networking — with coursework based on realistic scenarios covering technical issues, proposals, and reports.

Entry Requirements

• Normally an honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, plus appropriate work experience.
• Non-traditional entry qualifications and relevant experience or a portfolio of work considered case-by-case.
• An interview and/or portfolio of work may be required.
• IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5), or equivalent, if English is not your first language.
